Trademarks and service marks protect the names and logos that identify your business. In the Internet age, it is critically important to ensure that others do not trade upon, steal or undermine that business identity. However, many businesses do not take proper steps to protect their trademark and service mark rights, in large part because they do not understand what to protect or how to do it.
