RENNEE R. DEHESA practices in the areas of bankruptcy, creditor’s rights and family law.
Community
Ms. Dehesa serves as an executive board member for the Ventura County Bar Association’s Barristers section where she is Chair of the Barrister’s Mentorship Program. Ms. Dehesa is also on the executive board of the Ventura County Mexican American Bar Association.
Additionally, Ms. Dehesa has served as an Attorney Coach for the Simi Valley High School Mock Trial Team and as a volunteer at the Ventura County Family Law Self-Help Center.
Education
Ms. Dehesa attended California Western School of Law and completed her degree in two years (August 2006). She was a member of the Dean’s list.
During law school Ms. Dehesa worked as a law clerk for a personal injury firm and volunteered at the San Diego Lawyer’s Program assisting needy families in obtaining legal representation for special education issues.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Dehesa attended the University of San Diego. In 2004 she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and Spanish with a minor in Business Administration.
Personal
Ms. Dehesa was born in Mexico City and has resided in California since the age of five. She graduated from Saint Bonaventure High School in 2000. Ms. Dehesa lives in Camarillo with her husband Victor. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and exercising. She is fluent in Spanish.
